Dotted throughout the Danish coastline are the remains of the Nazi's Atlantic Wall, an extensive system of coastal defense and fortifications. These monumental concrete structures impose themselves on the Danish landscape and serve as a stark throwback to recent history when set against the numerous traditional and quaint summer houses which line the surrounding dunes.
